BEFORE YOU BEGIN - Determine which is best for you.

1.) VS's Bundles Feature

Use the Bundles Feature, if this fits your scenario:

Is your Bundle being shipped as any other loose bottle order would be? Example: You are selling a 6 bottle vertical and it is packaged the same way as any normal (non-bundled) 6-bottle order. Your fulfillment house will not know that it's part of a 'Bundle' per se. Although if they need to add collateral or special packaging, those can be added as SKUs to the Bundle.

  • Inventory is depleted at the individual SKU level.

  • Shipping charges are assessed at the individual SKU level.

  • Discounts are applied at the individual SKU level.

  • Fulfillment exports reflect the individual SKUs.

  • Reporting in VS reflects the individual SKUs as opposed to the Bundle name.

  • ShipCompliant reflects the individual SKUs for compliance checking, reporting and fulfillment (No 'Kit' needed).

  • You can add collateral or Gift box SKU's to be included in your Bundle.

  • NOTE: If you want to add a Bundle to an Allocation or a Club, then you cannot use this feature. Instead you'll need to set up the Bundle manually (below).

2.) Creating your Bundle Manually

Create your Bundle manually, if this fits your scenario:

Does your fulfillment house need to see the name of the Bundle in their file? Or do you otherwise need to report based on the Bundle name within VS? Do you want to add the Bundle to an Allocation or a Club?

  • If you want to add a Bundle to an Allocation or a Club, then you must manually set it up.

  • If your fulfillment house must see the name of the Bundle (as opposed to the individual items contained therein), then you must manually set it up.

  • If you need to report in VS based on the Bundle name (as opposed to the individual items contained therein), then you must manually set it up.

  • If you want to create a Bundle with SHIPPING INCLUDED in the price - and the SKUs included in the Bundle can also be purchased as single bottles - then you cannot use the Bundles feature. You will need to set it up manually instead.
