Square Payments is ideal for clients with an in-person experience (ie: tasting room) and are using Square Point of Sale. Our industry leading integration with Square synchronizes orders and customers and with the addition of Square Payments, you are able to:

VineSpring charges a small integration fee of 0.6% for payments processed via Square Payments in the VineSpring platform. The integration fee does not apply to payments processed directly in Square (using the Square Point of Sale); rather, this fee only applies to transactions processed directly in VineSpring using Square Payments.

1) When do orders placed in Square appear in VineSpring?
Orders taken in Square come over in the nightly sync.
2) How do you handle Disputes?
Disputes are handled directly within Square. Click here for more information.
3) Are Credit Cards entered in VS available to use within Square? Vice versa?
Yes. Credit Cards input into either system will be available for use in both systems.
4) How much time do you have to Refund a Transaction?
Payments processed on Square are eligible to refund within 120 days. If you need to refund a charge that is older than that, you will need to issue it outside of Square (send a check, pay cash, give a credit, etc).
5) Does Square Payments have a 'Card Updater' (where cards are automatically updated with new expiration dates)?
Yes. Credit cards stored on a customer profile in Square will be automatically updated on a regular basis.
6) How do you handle Double Charges or other Reconciliation questions?
You will need to contact Square with these questions. Contact their Support here with your VineSpring order number included.
7) Can I migrate cards from another Processor to Square Payments?

8) How do I connect my Square CC’s to my VS customer accounts?
Once VS is hooked up to your existing Square account, we sync the Customers and Credit Cards into Square. Reach out to us in Support and we can help.
