Overview

Admin Orders are first created a Drafts. What this means is that you can make any changes prior to saving it as an Order. 

If you need to make a change to an Order once it's been saved, you go back to the Draft status, make changes and then re-save as an Order. 

Online Orders flow into VineSpring as Orders (as opposed to Drafts). However, you can edit an Online Order in the same manner as an Admin Order. Simply take the Order back to Draft status, make changes and re-save.

Creating an Admin Order

Go to the Orders tab and Click 'New'.

This will create a Draft where you an build your Order.
Add an Existing or New Customer.

Add Products and quantities.

Add Shipping Method.

Add Payment information.

If all looks good, click the Finish Draft button.

Once you have finished your Draft, it is now an Order. At this point you can change the Order Status, associated Fulfillment Location, edit the Ship Date and add Tags.

How Do I Edit an Order?

You can edit an order by clicking the Edit link. This will take the Order back to a Draft status. When you have made all of your changes, simply click the Finish Draft button again. 

Are my Customers automatically sent a notification with their Order Receipt?
Yes - Anytime you click the Finish Draft button, you Customer receives a copy of the most up-to-date receipt.
